The Achene Flight

The leaf whispered in my ear:
‘Would you like to travel dear?’

A dandelion stared in my eyes:
‘A ride without any price.’

Approval of the palpitating heart.
Nerves throbbing for the journey to start.

Would have to hold the achene tight.
Only fearless choose this risky flight.

Gradually attaining a good height.
Found many like me, the fearless type.

Watching the natures unimaginable beauty.
Honeybees were on the nectar sucking duty.

Landed near the glistening waterfall.
Clearly we all heard its soothing call.

Woods talked about the moon and the stars.
The night was near and home was far.

My achene came to me for a ride back home.
I said,’ Yes please but I would again like to roam.’

The white flower dress (Re-Post)

Green is its base
white coloured flowers
form a beautiful vase

Fit of it is loose
comfortable to be worn
with white shoes

Fabric is light and soft
wearable in the summers
too hot

Frock style above knees
attractive long legs
do stare, please

Full sleeves balloon type
giving it a boho vibe

White flowers swaying
with my movements
confidently dancing

Invited crowd gawking
my pretty face
victoriously smiling.

‘At times, a dress elevates your confidence to impress’
