Shaking hands with Sun Rays- A poetical journey

The handsome sailor of a simple boat
uplifted my excitement with the scope
of touching the setting sun
travelling through the beautiful ocean

his playful but honest eyes
a strong trust developed inside
don’t want to be too precise
this is the simultaneous romantic side

instructions about the essentials
filling of the form with all the credentials
to buy list producing my mind
sailors smile was loving and mischievously kind

4 am the time to report
my questioning mind found the sailors word support
willingness to glide with the ocean waves
passion of shaking hands with sun rays

excitement could not bring much sleep
chirping like the bird, announced my arrival to the sailor with greet
mesmerised he too was by my childish agreement
to the adventure we both cheered in merriment

I am sick

Why is it
that I am sick
don’t flick
heart does not prick

eagerness eloped
this heart has no hope
your voice seems faded
the passion degraded

just quit thinking
just quit waiting
just quit hoping
just quit crawling

back

profoundly I admire
the beauty of your cloak
hiding behind it
you provoked

the words ‘move on’
suddenly have a meaning
life is good at mocking and teasing

Goodbye

Addition of ‘one’ person

I lost my mind ‘then’
questioning self about
my existence in your life

where did things went wrong?
how and what
drifted us apart?

life, was and is,
easy, before and after, you
untangled and uncomplicated

be it any time frame
you were ‘in’
your absence is a relief
and learning

addition of one wrong person
changes your life
which was properly filed

your ‘deduction
made self love
my greater affection

Mind Your Language

“FUCK OFF, GET LOST”
Don’t want the mind to exhaust
Your tactful talks
are no more winter socks

Fire of feelings which
burned inside once
Tarnished by your blaming words
which were not even equal to an ounce

Gust of relief occupied
this tottering heart
Hope this language
torments your soul
like the Deadliest Fart
