Dooriyan

paas rehke ensaan ko samjhna mushkil ho gaya
isiliye door rehkar samjhne ki koshish karte hai
‘dooriyan jaruri hai’ bolte hai
par us doori ka kya jo adat ban jaye
us ensaan ka mahatva khatam ho jaye
ensaan hai, ek jagah teherane ki adat nahi hai
samay k saath nahi par badalte jaroor hai

    1. ‘It becomes difficult to understand a person who lives near
which is why we try to move away from that person
Space is important as it is said
but what about that space which becomes a habit
lessening the effect of the presence of that person
We are humans. We never stay at one place
be it not with time but we change.’

Thank you Cindy. Because of you I made it. I wrote it correct in English.
How is the thought? Yes, I cannot make it rhyme nor can bring the effect of the Hindi version but still the thought is same.

      1. Oh why thank you Kritika!!! I love your poem which I can relate too. It’s so fun to see the difference in your mother tongue and English.. It’s so impressive to do both. I’m honored! ❀️

      2. I am happy that your comment helped me to express it in english though this is not the exact hindi I should have written. The script is different.
Thank you so much kindly for appreciating πŸ™‚ (Heart)
