Paper Petals

I carried a rose with me

the rose which you gifted me
painted in your love, Red
fragrance of your kissed lips
on petals lingered the moistness
my heart fluttering with a desire
running the petals on the bare skin
tuning the heart to beat faster
feeling your lips on my naked breast

paper like petals, now

a pain of your absence torturing
echoing with the loudness of my breath
searching for the signs of your footsteps
which will never retreat from the door
you closed behind
.

Impressive about me is my eagerness to try everything. Self Motivation is a fixed gear of my creativity vehicle provoking me to dance to the tune of optimism. Yoga and books are the two transducers of this victim which have helped to be straightforward and open minded. Improvement is the second gear which is under construction and will always be undergoing changes simultaneously achieving different goals. There are other supporting gears with less of speed more of energy. This is KRITIKA πŸ™‚

  1. Oh wow, i am in awe reading this poem, I like the flow, the metaphors, the beauty of love and the despair attached to it, the feeling of urges, desires, longing then loss. This format suits you, beautiful work 😊 πŸ‘Œ
