Poor Things

MY Clothes

Hangers are finding the clothes heavy
Helpless dust is adhering to gravity
Hope filled closet keeps staring at me
‘Hang on a little more’ I say, ‘Will soon come to thee.’

MY Foot Wears

Magic they long for, for the moment
Moving to adventurous places, they dream
Mask of dust is making there look filthy
‘Master, Master’ everyday they scream

Managing with hopes to soon meet the different lands
Merrily they all are trying to live in peace
Making conversations about the visited lands
‘Master, Master’ everyday they ask, ‘Time please!’

    1. Lols. Ah I guess I picked the one with a whole stuff.😁
Let me ask my mask if it wants to travel after the lockdown gets over. He would say I am mandatory. πŸ˜†

    1. My poor things are waiting for good days to travel to different lands and explore. πŸ˜“ But they are hopeful. So yes soon the good days would come. 😁😎
Hope you enjoyed reading the poem. πŸ˜‰

  1. Maybe I should write a poem voicing the complaints of the poor over-worked loungewear in my closet! Kritika, very funny and clever! I have also been wondering if those clothes in the closet will go out of style, or will we just pick up where we left off before lockdown? Hope things are going well! Cheryl

    1. Please do. I enjoy writing such poems.
Do not worry on the styling part. Nothing will go out of style ever.
Lets see where we start from. Difficult to understand what holds next.
Thank you Cheryl for the cute comment and I am happy that you enjoyed this fun poem. πŸ’•πŸŒ·πŸ€—

    1. It has been long since my poor little things have seen the streets and more charming things. They too are hoping for better.
