Frozen Glass

Photo by Simon Matzinger on Pexels.com

would never say it is not hard
have encountered the thorns in love
overtime meeting many on the road
have cursed this body and blood

the arteries laden with blood run
have questioned to me their faults
embraced them with kisses and hugs
overtime patience has made me tough

now I know how to read a book
while easily recognising the blanks
no more I care for the less is not that brave
to face my face and melt the frozen glass
