A Cadbury Island

the melted sweetness you poured
my midriff tasted and asked for more
the lower back readily formed a bridge
your hands slid and held the ridge

the show off of your creative hands
finger tips busy making A Cadbury Island
your never ending aesthetic style
this uniqueness always brings me to smile

the irresistible fervor of your art
simultaneous beats of my heart
cool down process should now begin
soon will have choco lava cake with gin

@ Kritika

Its my birthday tomorrow. So thoughts of cake are in mind though this piece of art could have had a different meaning to it if I would not have ruined the same in the end. It was fun to write this one.

  1. Hi Kritika. Your masterly penned poem ‘A Cadbury Island’ has haunted my imagination for days. So I have returned to reread it. This time I enjoyed it even more than when I read it first time round. I have now re-blogged. Have a wonderful day.
